The August 1994 version of DataPerfect is now available on our ftp site and
through the web site. Anonymous ftp access is at the address
cru2.cahe.wsu.edu in the dataperf directory. The web site is
http://www.cahe.wsu.edu/~harness/dataperf.html. If you have problems
getting a copy of 8/19/94 DP from these sites, let me know. The file is
called dp940819.zip.
If you are not currently using the 8/19/94 version, get this version now.
You will eventually have corruption in your .TXX file if you are not using
the 8/19/94 version.

The following was received from Novell, printed on Novell letterhead. It is official.
"This letter will confirm that Novell, Inc., including WordPerfect, the Novell Applications Group (formerly WordPerfect Corporation) is encouraging the free broad distribution of DataPerfect. In fact, DataPerfect will be uploaded and distributed via the Internet very soon."
The DataPerfect Users Discussion Group has therefore made DP available. Download DataPerfect from here. It is a zipped file, and when unzipped has the August 1994 versions of dp.exe and dp.sys. If later updates or other DP files become available, we will post them here.
